Apps, bots and bridges
Both the community and our team are working constantly to provide more bots, bridges and integrations available from Riot. Keep an eye on the news and this page to be aware of the latest novelties, but you’ll find them all in the settings of every room where you can deploy them.
BRIDGES
Bridges allow Riot users to chat with users from other apps transparently. No need to push your clients/suppliers colleagues to leave their IRC channel or Slack team: just bridge them into Riot and everyone can use the app they prefer.

INTEGRATIONS
An app integration will allow you to use this app or get updates from it from Riot. For example by using the !github command you can create issues directly in your existing GitHub project under your GitHub account. You can also receive notifications when issues are updated or created. Every application integration provides a unique set of features, specific to the app itself.

BOTS
Bots are small “smart” software who react to specific commands. For example the Giphy bot will send you back a gif related to your input.
